   Is a charitable organization whose principal purpose is, "To ensure that Postal Employees can get help when they need it".

  Each year postal employees contribute generously through the Combined Federal Campaign to charitable organizations of their choice. We urge each of you to continue to do so but to remember that there is only one that puts your needs first.

 THE POSTAL WORKERS HUMAN RELATIONS FUND was established, not to detract from other charitable organizations, but to put more emphasis on the needs of POSTAL families. This fund has assisted all categories of employees,(letters carriers,mail handlers,clerks rural, supervisors,ect.).

 The only funds that we receive from CFC or United Way are the ones that a contributor DESIGNATES to go to us. Our agency is listed on your voluntary agency list. YOU WILL HAVE TO PUT OUR AGENCY NUMBER "8004" in one of the boxes on your pledge card. We have one of the lowest administrative cost and none of our officers receive a salary.

When the KEYPERSON for your unit comes to you for your CFC pledge, remember, THE POSTAL WORKER'S HUMAN RELATIONS FUND was established for you. Give a fair share and designate to the only organization established solely to better meet your needs in the event of a disaster in your life.

The Postal Workers Human Relations Fund, Inc., is a non-profit tax-exempt organization. TIle fund is a separate entity and is not a party of any Union and is governed by section 501 c of the Intemal Revenue Code. Contributions to this fund are not contributions to any Union  and will be used only for the charitable and administrative causes of Postal Workers Human Relations Fund.
